Brooks Brothers shaving soap (tallow), an excellent underappreciated one

I don’t know why I ever stray away from this soap. I always limp home a little worse for wear. Takes a few days to get patched up. Mike’s natural soaps really agree with my skin. They give me all the protection I need to get back on the mend.

And I discovered last night how to get those globs of wax off a razor blade. (Feathers are the worst.) Just soak them in puddle of rubbing alcohol for twenty minutes and then wipe them clean with a paper towel. Wax is gone, the blade is sterile, and the razor doesn’t get gunked up. You’ve probably known that for years, but sometimes Bouki is pretty slow on the draw.
