That's a wicked nice tengu, ExtraProtein. I really enjoy your drawings! And your experience with bay rum is encyclopedic. So, you've baited us. Now spill the beans. What are the four bay rums worth keeping in your den?
Bouki Based on that writing, I hope there's only 3 more to learn about!
Thanks, ExtraProtein. Brad, Joe, and myself have a policy of not talking about more than just the highlights in regards to any of our scents. They are closely guarded. I will share this about IE. Yes, the real deal on the bay and real rum.

That scent means it’s summer!

Absolutely!  A great scent for hot summer day.  Paired it with Oleo New City to keep the raspberry-vibe going

Eau de Cologne by Fenomeno.

This new acquisition is from a company based out of Russia. The soap has a pleasant classic Eau de Cologne citrus smell, but the base comes off as laundry detergent-like, and overpowers the citrus to a degree, leaving a somewhat unpleasant overall fragrance profile. Performance-wise there is little to complain about. The triple milled semi-hard soap with the company's "artifact" base lathers easily into a supportive, relatively slick lather... and post shave, while not immediately apparent like some turns out to hold up well.

I am not sure if I can get past the laundry detergent aspect of the soap, but the performance makes me want to try one of the company's other soap offerings that has a fragrance that can hold up better against the soap's unpleasant smelling base.

After reading Southsider's remarks on Dark Rose, I decided to drop it into the cart during Pasteur's Memorial Day Sale (along with a few other soaps Smile).  So glad I did...the scent on this one is fantastic and the lather is top-notch.
