Gus my friend thank you for the encouraging words, an I’m glad you like the EDP and also I’m glad you mentioned as you called andrewjs18 the powers that be as he really was the deciding person on the scent. I sent him about 6 different Colonia type blends and honestly this was one of two that I was hoping he’d pick and he did. It’s been a fun collaboration for sure.

Mysore Sandalwood v. (Nanny’s Silly Soap) milky sandal

This smells smooth and creamy but there's a little tang too, like buttermilk. It also smells very mild. If you’re used to loud spicy sandalwood, you’ll likely be disappointed with the scent of Nanny’s Mysore. I like it because it reminds me of the sandalwood I used to smell back in the 70s, sweet gentle stuff that didn’t knock you over; still, its richness lingered for hours. How does this soap perform? It’s light and it’s vegan, so there aren't mounds of cushion. But it’s also quite slick. A light touch lets an easy razor skim nicely over my hide.

Fab lather this morning. I don’t know what soap base this one was considered.  My guess is back then artisans weren’t naming their bases. Nonetheless, this is one of those that didn’t need an upgrade. I’ve yet to try Milksteak, however this “old” base is every bit as good as the Icarus base.
