I made my conclusion on ethos. I don't find it has any traits that are remarkable.

What isn't subjective is that the labels were all crooked, the lids were dented... not to mention I had to remind you 3 times to ship my order, and then when it arrived one product was totally missing. Not really high marks for customer satisfaction on these objective things. I'm sure things have gotten better since then and that my experience was a one-off

To not take this thread off topic I’ll make one last response to the statements above. I’m sorry you feel that nothing about ETHOS is remarkable. I’m glad I have a several hundred regular customers that feel the exact opposite way!

I’m going to absolutely agree with you on the other comments.  Getting started did not go smoothly for a number of reasons. Some bad recommendations on jars which you may or may not know were cracking because of the styrene plastic they were made from. The online label company I first did business with sent labels that I’d challenge anyone to be able to get on straight. Tried another company and although a little better it was pretty much the same results. So finally I have a company that offers die lines and this problem along with the new jars I just got in should take care of all those issues.  I have a slight case of OCD and believe me that bothers me more than you!  Also trying to take orders through emails was a absolute nightmare and there were issues with communication, incorrect addresses etc. etc. also never thought I’d get anywhere near the amount of orders I was getting and as a secondary job I certainly wasn’t prepared for that on many levels so I will offer my apologies on that subject as I pride myself on customer service and would be more than happy to offer you a credit for any future purchase you may make in the future.

Now that my website is finally up and running, have an assistant and I’m making double and triple batches things are running much smoother.

And I’ll also say if you’d ever like to have a chat about shaving I always make myself available to my customers or to people who have questions.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Finally. A morning where the shave didn't have to be rushed. Grooming Dept. soaps never disappoint, especially if you can spend a little extra time building water into the lather. Creamy, dense and slick. The scent of Maleki is delightful, even though I have no idea how to describe it (scent notes are rose, oud and musk). There is a small hole showing the bottom of the tub...however, I'm not worried. I have a backup tub.

Ralph Lauren Safari shaving soap (tallow). A treasure. I don't know who actually made the soap, but its lathering qualities make me think it might have been the same maker as the vintage Floris soaps. And unlike many other vintage soaps, this one maintains its scent well despite its age.

Ended up using my Gem G-bar for the 1st time in nearly 2 years.  Found it funny this morning that, due to the larger head of the razor, it's easier to go ATG on my upper lip than it is to go WTG.

. Beautiful dairy queen lather as usual. She does do florals very well. You have encouraged me to do just that tomorrow

Ah Harris!  Please promise me you will never do a Trumpers reformulation that results in an unusable soap and I will promise to be a loyal advocate.
I find Harris to be very nice if loaded long enough.

TP - new puck for my old eyes. Spanish made, curious - what's the story on this one?
