Gillette Pure Shaving Cream

The Royal Garden v. (Catie’s Bubbles) distant roses

This is like looking at the royal garden from the royal balcony. I see some flowery bits, but it’s all sort of blurred and distant. I take a whiff and what I smell are geraniums, mint, and little woody bushes. But what about the roses? They’re there, too, but they’re not heavy-headed drooping blooms gushing ambrosia. These are very upright and prim roses, quiet, clean, and conservative. You could wear this fragrance to court and no one would ever turn his head. Not sure how much I like the scent, but the lather and shave were fine. It's going to take some time for this to grow on me.

Stirling Green

It is a shame that Stirling only offers this soap seasonally, as it channels vintage Polo by Ralph Lauren to extremely good effect, including a full dose of the oakmoss missing from the neutered current stuff.

You sir, are exactly right. It is very close to the vintage corsair polo green. I really like this one

B&M Cologne Russe. Back to face lathering today. I might've gotten a tad heavy-handed with the loading. That means a little more work adding water to dial in the lather. It also means  more time to inhale the beautiful fragrance.     And, what a delightful lather it was...rich and goopy. Slick and dense. A true delight all the way around. 

Plum handle is back!

AQU, I do believe you are right.  First, the "cedar" scent I was picking up is very likely the lavender mixed with another scent.  Second, this is an awesome scent for a cool spring morning!

Yessir! Not only is it matchy-matchy with today's soap, I've been using it a lot since I got it. One of the guys over at TSD made a LE run of them. They're anodized aluminum, and this one is sporting a AP Shave Co 24mm 2BED synthetic knot. I believe I'm the only person who selected purple, and I'm beyond pleased. His work is impeccable. The handle is ergonomic, and a pleasure to use. 
I'm considering contacting him to see if he'd make another handle shaped like a Paladin Moe, also in purple.
