What soap/cream did you use today?

Sir Henry's Barbershop Quartet

This is not your run of the mill barbershop puck. This is a special scent - and it evokes a call to usage for me on special occasions, holidays, or cool-cloudy weather. It is warm, spicy, slightly resinous. It smells to me like Christain Dior Prive Mitzah. I have an affinity for this juice - and when I discovered SH BQ- I found her lifetime partner. I am not going out on a limb here - this is my #1 favorite vegan soap: clicks all the buttons =performance, scent, fragrance, post , availability, packaging, and value. I need to get backups.

Gorgeous lather; perfection in hydration bud

The Royal Garden v. (Catie’s Bubbles) distant roses

This is like looking at the royal garden from the royal balcony. I see some flowery bits, but it’s all sort of blurred and distant. I take a whiff and what I smell are geraniums, mint, and little woody bushes. But what about the roses? They’re there, too, but they’re not heavy-headed drooping blooms gushing ambrosia. These are very upright and prim roses, quiet, clean, and conservative. You could wear this fragrance to court and no one would ever turn his head. Not sure how much I like the scent, but the lather and shave were fine. It's going to take some time for this to grow on me.

It is a shame that Stirling only offers this soap seasonally, as it channels vintage Polo by Ralph Lauren to extremely good effect, including a full dose of the oakmoss missing from the neutered current stuff.

Actually, you don't. You're welcome to acquire as many backups as you wish, but that's why you like us, you don't have to fear your fav's being pulled out from under you or that "possible" seasonal release that may never come back.

B&M Cologne Russe. Back to face lathering today. I might've gotten a tad heavy-handed with the loading. That means a little more work adding water to dial in the lather. It also means  more time to inhale the beautiful fragrance.     And, what a delightful lather it was...rich and goopy. Slick and dense. A true delight all the way around.
