Boys, WTH ?! I have used this 3 times. Each time I wonder why I don't visit the container more often. And it reminds me of Stirling [fan boy].... . Creamy, slick, low profile with a nice post. Really great puck. I am in one of those, let the post shave drive the scent - so went with a naked scent less fragrance. No tallow smell at all!
I will get a couple more of these in one PAAs Bay Rum varietals /palette, and a barbershop flavor [CAD].
Great product.
C U all tomorrow
Really is some great stuff, Tommy.
They have plenty in barbershop category, btw... John Frum, Lo Haiku, Mega Flora to name a few. Rabbit hole alert!!

DRH Sandalwood
Ok, so not the woodshop or lumberjack style of Sandalwood [like Proraso] not creamy like Dyptique Tam Dao, or bright like [creamy lime] Sir Henry's, or 'cologney' like TOBS, or spicy like Trumper's- this is loaded with anise to my nose. Very interesting take on Sandalwood - sweet and great for the spring and summer. You can tell I hate it .
Going to build an uber lather and bathe in my licorice-sandalwood. The triple milled soap is right down my preference alley.

When I first got Phoenix and Beau Oberon a couple of years ago I really didn’t get on with the scent. I don’t know what changed but it is wonderfully interesting to me now. Oberon is King of the Fairies in Shakespeare’s AMid Summer Nights Dream and as stated on their site, this soap and its label are their interpretation of what Oberon is like. The tub label is as interesting as is the soap scent. Herbaceous up front, floral in the mid (lavender mostly) and cedar/moss on the bottom. The way the scents entwine around the main players (lavender and cedar) is enchanting. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience today and so grateful to have had a fantastically awesome shave after yesterday’s struggle-bus.

Didn’t at first because I was expecting the scent of the infield but when I realized it was meant to be the scent of the grandstand it clicked for me! I loved playing baseball but nobody wants me pitching anymore with my 37mph fastball and a curve that hangs over the plate, but I sure like watching a game too so..I totally get it!
