What soap/cream did you use today?

Puristic Style v. (Meißner Tremonia) scentless

Puristic Style is sold without any added fragrance. You want it to smell good, you’ll have to add your own scent. That’s just what I did a year or so ago. I dumped a few milliliters of Serge Lutens’ Muscs Koublai Khan into the soap and gave it a good stir. Then I put the lid on and let it sit for fourteen months. When I uncorked it, it smelled pretty good. But it wasn’t the hyper-masculine musk of MKK. Instead, it was a soft floral fragrance that reminded me of Kiehl's Original Musk. Soft and ambery, it was pleasant, warm, and comforting, but probably best enjoyed in sweater weather.

Kiehl's Original Musk was great! But it was reformulated in the last decade, which took the depth and excitement out of it. What a shame.

Grooming Dept. Melody  Nice clean scent, very similar to GD "Soap", but has a few extra scent notes added in. I'd consider it a light and bright fougere.
