Well, tomorrow starts another week with the "gotta finish it this year!" soaps.  Knowing my variety would be cut short for a week, i wanted to choose something new.  Even though I still have a couple new-to-me soaps to try, the Laugar just kept calling my name...

Is this company still around? Haven't heard them mentioned in a very long time.

I don't know whether this company exists or not, I have to find out. I bought this soap about 3 years ago. And I like it ...

I thought the guy that owns Chiseled Face was now making the LA Shaving Soap as well as the Tiki Soaps in addition to the Chiseled Face line. You should be able to purchase here: The Groomatorium

La Fougère Parfaite t. (Wholly Kaw) Brut-ish

I’m still chipping away at this puck trying to use two grams each day. It’s a nice soap base, and it makes a good lather. If you like yours heavy and close, just drench it well and go easy on the brush work. The finish is slightly waxy but comfortable and smooth. The scent is a polite version of modern Brut. It has a clean, watery note that reminds me of an indoor pool. I shore it up with a few splashes of Brut cologne. That stuff smells like a chemical bath, but for some odd reason, it's growing on me.

Been super busy these last two weeks and thank goodness for that! Between family and business I haven’t had time enough to worry about anything!    Sunday and Monday saw the end of the Murphy & McNeil Ogham Stone.  It was an interesting ride sure enough, and it shaves marvelously, but although it reminds me of my mom, it won’t be sitting in my soap mountain. (Sorry Mom).

This morning I just had to rock the MdC Vetiver.  It was certainly worth it.
