Reading 14 MdC balls but count 13 in the photo. Clearly am mistaken but unable to resolve the incongruity, only hastening my decline into madness. One of my betters, please help!
I took all that was left of this soap and divided it into fourteen pea-sized balls. Each weighs a little more than a gram. Each is good for one shave. This soap’s days are numbered.
Greenfresh t. (Ethos Grooming Essentials) cucumber peel & watermelon
Greenfresh starts out very sweet. In fact, it reminds me of watermelon candy. There’s a touch of green in there, too, but that doesn’t really come to the fore until you make the lather. Once the emulsion comes together, the watermelon fades to the back and you get a snout full of cucumber peel. On a hot day like to day, it’s bitter but very refreshing. And the scent lasts right through to the end of the shave. From time to time the watermelon reappears, but it’s not cloying. With a pinch of menthol, this could be an excellent summer soap. I’m very impressed with what Frank has done with his fragrances. Both DFS Colonia and Greenfresh smell really good, and there’s no soapy base clogging the issue. In fact, these soaps don’t even taste bad, so go ahead and spread the lather thick around your kisser.
Now if we could only convince Dragonsbeard to delve into the world of vetiver. If anyone could pull off a nice interpretation of Grey Vetiver or Encre Noir or Vetiver Tonka or even Bal d’Afrique, I think it would be Frank.

Thank you sir for the review and just so you know the Cucumber infusion is 100% Vegan and edible. We use it to make CBD Gummies. Lol
I can’t believe you brought up Vetiver. I’ll be releasing a Skin Food Splash with the scent I developed to see how people respond to it and if enough folks want a shave soap in the scent I’ll mane it.
Great shaves!
