I think the target scent was some kind of an ADP-herbal - Italian citrus. Huh, it is ok - performance is stellar though. Not sure why I don't include this maker in my top 5 pux. It is certainly worthy.

Not a fan of the scent, Tommy?  How would you describe it, are you able to compare it to something?

Similar to T&S Classic 2, better but in that vein. Fair scent - great lather though Nero [as you know]. not like fines italian citrus or Stirling Piacenza - those 2 way better. Ahh it hit me, reminds me of Barrister & manns Seville - Seville is a blend of lemon, bergamot, rosemary, lavender, patchouli, and oakmoss... . Close to Mediterraneo.

Vetiver Planet v. (Phoenix Shaving) very nice vetiver

It’s hard to sort out the relationship between the three labels that appear on this soap: Crown King, Phoenix Shaving, and Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements. They all seem to be different avatars of the same two soap cookers, Doug and Fran. This energetic pair are certainly enthusiastic about what they do. To them, shaving’s not just a question of hair removal, it’s a chance to offer products that are “life transforming creations.” Visit the apparel and accessories section of their Web site and prepare to have your mind boggled. Need a wall clock, skateboard, T-shirt, Moroccan argan body soap, a neoprene essentials pouch, coffee mug, galactic beard bib, glow-in-the-dark razor, wristwatch, framed art for your walls, beach towels, phone cases, air freshener for your car? It’s all here, and it’s all emblazoned with the PAA logos and artwork. Bizarre? A little. But also entertaining, like a semi-surreal carnival. To be honest, the soaps are good, as are the brushes. In fact, I use their Peregrino brush nearly every day. It’s my favorite by far. I haven’t tried the rest of the stuff in their catalog, but when Zoom meetings drag on and on, I love to dip into their site and gaze upon the curiosities I find there. It’s sort of like the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! of the shave world.

Haha, Bouki, you nailed it (as always)... They are such an interesting company/family that I even awoke to thinking about them this morning, grinning and thinking about their energy levels and creativity, too.

Of course, it was on the mind mostly because I have been on the website lately, stalking out what is in my next order... of which, I hit send around the same moment you hit send on this thread.

What's coming to the doorstep next:
Soaps in CK-6: Copalli, Mega Flora, and Scentsless
Aftershave: John Frum (I shaved with the soap a day or two ago... great spicy musk)
Cube (preshave soap): TWOOB (Green Irish Tween dupe)
