Today's shave wasn't about removing whiskers, obviously that was the end-result. No, today's shave was intended to be my "spa-day". This past week has been one of "those weeks" and I have concerns it will last at least another 2-3 weeks. So, after spending my 3rd straight 12-14 hour day behind a computer in a "not-made-for-all-day" chair and desk setup, I decided to take a good 45 minute shower/shave.
Sticking with Lit, I loaded the 30mm Cashmere for 45 seconds and then spent a good 10-15 minutes face-lathering. In an effort to prolong my "alone-time", I used the Muhle R41 and really concentrated on the angle and stroke-length. Shannon's provided more than enough cushion and slickness. And the scent of Lit combined with the Fine Lavender Pour Homme splash did wonders for my mental well-being.

Only six shaves into this 3017 adventure, and I’m already dreaming of what my next soap will be. I’m afraid that I’m starting to lose my grip. It helps having all the tubs tucked away in deep storage, and it helps having a small rotation of brushes to make each day’s shave a little different from the last. But still, every morning I hear the Siren's call, tempting me onto the rocks.

Shave Sharp, Look Sharp
B&M Cheshire
Bergamot , Earl Grey Tea, Patchouli: the patch dominates, and the patch has a chocolate dominated vibe. This is definitely a gourmand puck. I feel like I need to shave with an eclaire in my mouth. I might have to pass this one forward.
C U all tomorrow
