Saturday is my weekly male grooming session: old man hair removal- ears, nose, face, head and neck. As my friends say, you look like you just visited a barber and got waxed and polished. . So, Saturday I enjoy my barbershop shave - and I find myself reaching yet again for the Quartet. Most used soap in the den for me this year. And i don't typically repeat much over the year.
Excited to use a newly knotted handle with an Omega 10049 set low for extra face lathering agitation!
Love Saturday, - tipple = pear brandy.
C U all tomorrow

Vétyver v. (Martin de Candre) light vetiver
I like Vétyver so much I bought two jars. This one dates from 2017. Its lather is excellent, especially when I drench it. The scent, though, has faded. I dribbled some Guerlain Vetiver over it, and that perked things up nicely. What’s also nice about this soap is how it leaves my face feeling smooth, clean, and normal. Glycerine is the only softening agent. I really couldn’t ask for anything more.

Martin de Candre: Vétyver 2017 (93% left) ・ Maggard V3 ・ Astra Superior Platinum ・ Phoenix Shaving Peregrino ・ Soap Hoard: 11,854 g ・ Used this year: 79 g
