What soap/cream did you use today?

Mikes Natural is just plain awesome soap for me.  This morning I chose Barbershop, a gift of a year ago from my eldest son (yep, he knows he’s getting the AOS tallow stash).  Mikes always provides what I call a “hug soap” where the soap goes on smooth without any tingle or warmth or anything other than the feeling of clean sheets.  It helps that I haven’t found a stinker in the lot either.  Limited scent choices.  Great ingredients.  Reminds me of Dominick’s business model at Sir Henrys/Black Tie except I can buy a tub of Doms soap whenever I wish. Mikes is still a bit spotty. And yes I do like the Rocca razor but find I like it most with the sharpest blades.  Gillette Green just isn’t quite there.

Sunny cool weather and results in a no-brainer reach for a sandalwood shave. This stuff never fails to tick all the boxes. Creamy wood free is! [I get a milky lime note up-top]. Smile making whisker batter.
