Gentle Menthol Paste v. (Meißner Tremonia) cool herbs & eucalyptus

I imagine you can cool off just by stepping outside for a few minutes, but down here we still have to work to get a chill. I’m pulling out my mentholated soaps even in the depths of ‘winter’. This Gentle Menthol is just that: it’s easy on the skin and the schnoz. You can give it to the kids to mess around with, it’s that mild. But still, it’s refreshing, and the strength of the scent is just right. I smell rosemary and eucalyptus mostly, so it’s not far off from Proraso green. The lather isn't going to win any beauty contest, but if you want something to remind you of spring, Gentle Menthol is not a bad choice until the ice thaws.

First shave with T+S Classic (v. Two)

A fantastic shave of course, as with any from this brand. Really enjoy the citrus scent. No complaints on this bad boy. The 4711 is a good complementary scent, just so you know what's involved. Ironically, it smells nothing like Fine American Blend (thank the heavens), even though both inspired by YSL RG.

WhollyKaw Rebelle

An especially good weekend during which to remember David Bowie. Knowing that I’d enjoy WhollyKaw no matter what, I got this one just for the label. The clean and fairly sweet scent wasn’t an immediate hit for me, but I’ve come to appreciate it over the course of the ~1 year I’ve had it.
