Ethos Lavender

I know I said in a recent post Ethos Greenfresh was my favorite soap. After using Lavender today, I need to flip-flop yet again. Ethos Lavender is now my favorite soap.

They had me at anise.

SV Cosmo 4.2 - This is a pretty thirsty soap and creates a protective and thick lather. Post shave is one of the better ones among SV for the dry winter months. Lots of goodies in the formula to make the skin feel great.

Manna di Sicilia v. (Saponificio Varesino) woody floral

A musty woody floral with bitter undertones, Manna di Sicilia will go on my heap of wintertime soaps. These are the fragrances that work best when mild temperatures keep the scent from suddenly blowing apart. Two months ago when the heat and humidity amplified every note, the smell of this soap had me gagging. But today under overcast skies all was sweetness.
