Mitchell’s Wool Fat is a touchstone to my reentry to older school shaving. It was one of the first soaps I picked up many years ago when I put cartridges and Edge gel aside. Mitchell’s scent is so very pleasant and unobtrusive as to hint to perfection in an “Everyman” perfume. Performance is so good. Lather comes easy in my hard water. I really do like the seeming simplicity of Mitchell’s and looked forward to lathering it today.
+1
But today was my first experience with MWF. I put the puck in one of the PETG jars from Maggards but this is definitely not a soap you can easily squish into any container you like Performance was good for me...the slickness and post shave is what really shined. But I felt like the lather itself was too "airy" which I am sure was user-error
