What soap/cream did you use today?

Lots of snow in these Idaho Hills but so far just a bit in the valley.  That’s what makes Idaho great cattle country.  The valleys, where we winter the herds, stay relatively dry (or open as we say) so the rancher can tend cattle without fighting snow.  Cows do better in dry, cold, frozen ground than they do in snowy, cold wetness.  In fact when calving time comes the worst thing that can happen is an early thaw.  Calves get wet and muddy and disease can really flare up.  Christmas time is still busy but things take on a new flavor.  Today’s shave is B&M Dickens.  It has no scent memory for me other than I like the smell and this is my second tub of it so it’s become my Christmas scent.  

I don’t drink coffee but love the scent of it.  How “coffee” is this one?

How do you like this? Can you describe the scent?

One of my favourite soaps. Now that may not be saying too much since I really just have stuck to the same few soap makers and a small rotation compared to many others here. I can't offer you any better description than Chris gives you in the write up for the scent. Like many of my soaps I don't have the matching splash and have been using it with Aqua Velva Musk. The tobacco and the talc in the splash seem to work with the soap and the citrus component might even brighten it up a bit. That may not be a ringing endorsement of the scent but what can I say I like Aqua Velva. The AV splashes collected dust on my shelves for years but as I've gotten older I have started to enjoy them more..
