I bought this soap about a year ago because I wanted to try this makers stuff. Wish I hadn't lost it. Easy to work with, so very slick, and post shave is plump. With scent notes of Oakmoss, sandalwood, vetiver I really though it would be up my alley but what I get is amber and musk, but mostly amber as the star of the show. It’s a very nice scent but for me the wood is too far away. It’s a very nice scent. Not a favorite but very nice. Problem is something in the mix doesn’t like my skin. Not cinnamon-fires-of-hell burning but a mild and building tingle that I find distracting enough to not want to use it so now it’s at my daughter-in-laws house and she loves it.

I had it too and LOVE the scent but had the same burning and got rid of it. Reminded me of Cognac and Cigars by Heni E Victoria. I miss it.....
