This morning I needed a VERY quick shave.  So I bloomed the soap while I showered and then took a lightly damp synthetic to the puck for about 30 seconds.  I then face-painted for about 30 seconds before dipping half the knot into sink water.  I then swirled for about ten seconds and face-painted for another 30 seconds.  The lather wasn't exactly what I'm used to but I just didn't have the time for a good lather/shave this morning.  BTW, the Muhle R41 was the tool of choice and, after only a WTG pass, I was out the door.  Looking forward to the workload getting back to a manageable load so I can get my "lather meditation" time Smile

I believe it's when someone copies their post from another forum and pastes it here and it isn't recognized by this forums format.

I got to try a brand new soap from Murphy and McNeil this morning. Barbershop de la muertos in the Kodiak base.  The scent is just killer and the soap base better than that.  A bit of citrus on top but this one for me is the wood.  Haven’t read the ingredients list but the sandalwood stayed with me all day long.  Easy lather, slick as glass, scent and base working together to offer a fantastic shave.  I think this releases tomorrow?
