Barrister and Mann built excellent soap and the glissant base is one of my favorite.  Add to that the scent First Snow is fir and leather and I’m all in.  You might guess that this soap would be for this time of year, and it is, but my favorite time to use it is in the heat of summer.  It reminds me of the brisk air of “First Snow” days.  It reminds me of walking up the drag trail from Ottley’s Ranch into Stump Flats just above Cross Creek to cut a Christmas Tree. So good I can almost hear the zip of the bow saw blade biting green, resinous wood.

I haven’t! I got this as a PIF from a shave buddy who didn’t quite like the feel of the base. Thankfully I love it! Quite an upgrade from Cella, my first Italian almond love.

Dave what did you think overall on this one?
I almost pulled the trigger but someone listed an unused WK La Fougere Parfaite for $15 with shipping, an obvious no brainer

Another stellar shave with Ethos. I consistently get the best shaves with Ethos, regardless of scent.

I had this in the Tre Cittá formula and would love to see this released in Soft Heart.
