Mysore Sandalwood v. (Nanny's Silly Soap) authentic sandal

This is a mild but very creamy sandalwood that goes will with a cool fall morning. Most of my other sandalwoods come from western Australia. They’re powerful woody, but to my nose they’re also sort of dry, bitter, and spicy. Nanny’s sandal isn’t like that. It has a milky smoothness that I associate with sandalwood paste, the kind you smell in Hindu and Buddhist temples and shrines.

Wood soap presentation.  AoS Sandalwood soap.  This is the newer iteration with a stronger anise note.  Very nice indeed!  I still think the vintage edges it out on performance but not by much.

Lipripper660, how do you like that Muhle? I've always admired the handle, but I wasn't sure about the shave. Does it cut like a Edwin Jagger DE89?

Half way between the R89 and 41.  I have a review posted in the reviews tab.

M&M Green Man... another great scent with anise.

There is something calm, classic, and beautiful about anise... maybe bc it reminds me of my grandfather who always had a bag of black liquorice, even though he hated sweets.

This is just a sample, and if I buy some whole tubs of M&M, this is the first one in the cart.

Hmmm, Sounds like a Rockwell Baseplate 4. Or is it more aggressive than that? Thanks, Lipripper660!
