Floris Verbena shaving soap (tallow) + a few drops Rose Essence Oil/Hydrosol. By itself this soap makes lather with a very bland, boring scent, but the rose mix added excellent depth and complexity.

How is the scent and performance? Love the labels and commitment to quality ingredients.

I really like this soap maker. I have version 1 soap. And for me personally, it is one of the best that I have tried (I have a lot of soap). When I saw that the V2 version appeared, I personally could not figure out what else could be improved. Now I can say that there are improvements. For me personally, this is a fantastic soap! All performance characteristics are at the highest level. The smell is light, not intrusive, but very pleasant. I hear a light fougere with sandalwood. But most of all I am shocked by the condition of my face after shaving. I have never had such a feeling before. This soap is at least on the same level as those that are very much discussed here and put in the first place.
Thanks for your input!!

Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk "Original Formula" bath bar soap
Yes, really. Don't judge me.
After all, in The Olden Days I'm betting that "shaving soap" as distinct from regular soap wasn't a thing, except maybe in a barber shop.
SOTN details here.

Psssshhhhht, do you have a guest house?
This one puts me in relax mode.....in a NY minute, I’d love to smell the air from this exact moment.  In my mind, it’s a warm 74f gentle breeze with just country dusk sounds, nothing from an urban environment....
