What soap/cream did you use today?

I’ve been wanting to Wickams Soap so when the opportunity to try 1912 Magnum I jumped.  When I removed the lid for an initial sniff I found something was very familiar but I couldn’t place it.  The scent was neither amazing nor off putting but “familiar”.  I loaded the brush and face lathered and performance is very nice indeed.  It was during the second pass that the familiar scent worm finally came to recognition.  It’s a service station restroom urinal puck!  Not offensive but not something I’ll buy in an edp either.  This one has seen the only brush of mine that it will see.  It’ll head out on the highway.

Brilliant!

Art of Shaving really builds quality shaving soaps and creams and has been a part of my routine for years.  Expensive? Yep, if you don’t wait for sales.  AI chose Peppermint cream this morning.  The cream, when new is way too easy to overload and just a dip if the tips in the tub gives plenty of lather.  As they age, they become more Croap-like and loading becomes a swirl with a damp brush affair which I actually like better.  At any rate, fresh or aged, performance is 10 kinds of amazing.  The peppermint scent is more than just mint but I sure couldn’t tell you what.  Deeper and richer than plain mint would be.  Scent strength is very prominent and there is enough mint there To give  a touch of that menthol cooling.  Very nice product. Excellent scent and performance.  

Excellent in every way, I love this one from AoS, I had a sample and they roped me in! The closer the Holidays, the more I like it!
