Looks like candy.
Smells like candy.
But it snot. But it's not.
It's a great soap.

Bonus - this Lime scent doesn't irritate my skin like other Lime soaps.

Quite possibly the best scent in shaving. Still.

88 Chestnut St t. (Chatillon Lux/Declaration Grooming) green neroli

88 Chestnut St smells rich and juicy with a lot of green around the edges. Imagine sipping apricot nectar in an orange grove just as it comes into full bloom. Nice? Yup! The soap itself uses Declaration Grooming’s milk steak base. It’s very soft and sludgy. Loading is a challenge at first since the brush just sort of pushes the soap around the tub. But once you’ve got a good dollop on your face it makes a thick and nutritious fine-grained lather – top tier cushion and slickness, but not the closest shave. I’ll have to break out a more aggressive razor next time.

I really don’t relegate soaps to “seasonal” stays but as seasons change I do find my desires for certain soaps to wax and wane.  Right now I’m really digging wood and Mikes Pine and Cedarwood  hit the brush.  Favorite scent? Not by a long shot and this one won’t be replaced, but it sounded good and performed flawlessly.  [Image: ZUKtGK4.jpg]
