Lemongrass & Eucalyptus t. (Mike's Natural Soaps)

There's no point in interpreting the scent. It is what the label says it is: straight up natural essential oils and plenty of 'em. We've all got soaps that for one reason or another don't quite make our top tier, but we hang on to them because we like the scent or the performance or maybe just the artwork on the label. I admit Lemongrass & Eucalyptus doesn't win any olfactory awards with me, and the label is more quaint than captivating. I keep this soap on deck for one simple reason: I can load it until my brush is bursting without feeling the slightest twinge of parsimony. There's no compulsion to make the puck last. In fact, it's not uncommon to gobble up four grams of this soap per shave. What comes out is a super rich, sour creamy lather that keeps my hot-'n-bothered hide happy on these sultry end of summer days. So full marks for performance. I won't replace this tub, but I'll sure have a lot of fun with it until it's gone.

Now that makes me want to go on a 3 day pack hike in the Rockies! I need to get a sample of this one.

I think this is the only Mike's scent that I haven't tried yet.  If I remember correctly, someone had posted the scent reminded them of a cough drop.
