Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Warm Woods v. (Meißner Tremonia) cedar, palo santo, pine, incense

Not a particularly exciting scent to begin with. There are no top notes at all and not much in the middle either. What's there, though, is dark, smooth, and calming. To be honest, I wasn't too impressed at first, but when I set the open jar on the desk next to where I was working, all that soft woody goodness seeped out, and I got to feeling like I was in an old cabin on top of some mesa down around the Four Corners region. It made for a very happy afternoon.

MdC Original

My bloviating is going to show my age, but I had a Sleepy Joe revelation. This puck is nostalgic for me I wasn't sure why. There is a floral heart note in this, but it is the top note which was doing it. That rubber profile reminds me of my youth - my first bicycle: a yellow Schwin lemon peeler with the big fat rear racing slick tire. The old bike shop and Schwin crates and peelers smell like MdC. It makes me smile every time I lather. [Image: 0941dc41eedd151419d8b007555972eb.jpg][Image: 7bfb432bdb119e7e0a06546c63564005.jpg]
