That’s a Big Gun there, ALL of their scents do it for me! The Green is a desert island scent/performance for me!

One of the best Sandalwoods imo! The only one “I” like more in terms of Sandalwood scent is AOS Pre-2011 if you can get your hands on it, or the Tallow Pucks...

Citrus sounded nice this morning so Caties Fouet L’Orange met Mr. Teton Shaves “Extras” brush. Lovely!  This is not an “orange grove” orange but neither is it a pretentious cologne either.  Nor is it a gourmand scented soap. So what the heck is it?  I don’t know how better to describe it than a masculine citrus.  Caties lather needs no introduction.  It was awesome for this sun parched day.

Vetiver Planet v. (Crown King) Indian vetiver, Haitian vetiver, Sri Lankan vetiver, double distilled vetiver

Though I've sampled soaps from over 70 artisans, I've never tried Crown King (PAA) until this week. In fact, in the past I sort of pooh-poohed the brand, letting my soap snobbery get the better of me. Crown King doesn't show up often in the SODT threads I follow, and it doesn't often find a spot in the top 10 lists that pop up all the time, so I dismissed it as a middling brand with a middlesome soap. That's all changed in the last couple days, though. I've had two splendid shaves absolutely sans irritation and full of face friendly hydrofaction. The vegan lather isn't as thick as Saponificio Varesino's, but it's just as slick and very protective and a pleasure to use. Here's a soap that could become habit forming.
