Very very soft croap - performance stellar: scent Grapefruit dominated, refreshing and top shelf; easy to lather, slick with good post

Mirto di Sardegna v. (Saponificio Varesino) lime, lavender, vetiver
These last couple weeks of August are high vetiver season here. Hot, wet winds from the South amplify the green and earthy in everything. Vetiver, whether dirty or clean, suits the general smell of things. While today's Mirto di Sardegna isn't a vetiver bomb, there's still a nice slug of green and dirty rootiness down deep in this fragrance, and the lather's thick cushion keeps hot skin happy.

Very very soft soap. Like a sticky cream, similar to the early versions of M&M in density.
We are living in a golden age of soap options. Killing my bank about

Mid-August in Idaho now. Well, it’s mid-August everywhere in the world but this time of year is still hot in Idaho but the evenings are cooling more rapidly. There is the scent of pending Fall in the air. Elk, albeit infrequently, are starting to bugle in preparation for the coming rut. Hillside grasses are turning yellow. The smell of the meadow Wyethia have taken on the familiar “sharp” scent. Fireweed is making its last push and seed pods are covering the stems. Lupine and geranium are all but done. And my desire for the darker soaps is returning. Phoenix and Beau Borealis, as the name would imply, Is all about pine and fir and it sure satisfied this morning.
