What soap/cream did you use today?

Martin de Candre shaving soap 

For a while Esbjerg was a hot ticket but I seldom see it these days.  Orange Vetiver is a Vetiver lovers dream!  They use orange where others use lemongrass on that bright first note but then the the very dirty Vetiver comes rushing forward!  Heavenly!  I catch a whiff of Vetiver all day when I use this.  

American Blend t. (Fine Accoutrements) woody fougère

The fragrance of this soap is based on Yves Saint Laurent's Rive Gauche pour Homme (2004). That's a dry, woody fougère made aromatic with just a pinch of anise, cloves, and a nice dose of vetiver. It's smooth, elegant, well balanced, and effortless. Some say RGpH smells like the best shave you've ever had. Team it up with Fine's tallow base, and you've got a match made in heaven.
