Gentle Menthol Paste v. (Meißner Tremonia) rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus, menthol
The fragrance is mostly eucalyptus and menthol; in other words, Gentle Menthol smells a lot like Proraso Green, but in a more natural and elegant fashion. The menthol gives you a good chill while you're shaving, but it lasts only a couple minutes after the last rinse. And the combination of glycerin and talc really suits my skin at this sticky time of the year: I get a smooth, dry finish that lasts nearly ten hours. I've always favored Meißner Tremonia's hard soaps over their pastes, but after a string of very nice shaves with these menthol pastes, I'm starting to re-think my opinions.
