Tom Ford shaving cream. Well, I had read that guys had difficulty building lather with this. But ever the fool, I thought, "They just don't know how to do it. I'll try it." Nope. It will not build lather at all; it's just a brushless cream. Oh, well. Another fail.

Does it work well as a brushless cream?  Might be a good option for anyone who doesn't want to carry a brush when traveling.

The cushion and glide are just fair. It is quite thick and tenacious, hard to rinse out of the razor after passes. And the jar is heavy and breakable. It might be OK if a smaller amount was transferred to a small plastic container for travel.

That’s what I’m talking about!  It’s no secret I like hard pucks.  It’s also no secret I like Fine products and think they do scents very well.  The interest in this one was the Aqua de Parma dupe and I have to say, nice job Fine.  The scent is certainly citrus forward which is nice in this heat but the soap and aftershave don’t match as closely as the others I have.  I am just Fine with that.  The soap has an herbal quality that is Devine.  The after shave has the note but it’s not the player it is in the soap.  Love the dry down on the aftershave and although it doesn’t have the longevity of the others, it is very nice indeed.

Really nice first shave with this.
I scooped a little out and put it in a bowl to load the brush...not my normal regime, but worked just fine from a loading standpoint. I was cautious not to use too much, given some reports, but I'll use just a little more next time and I'm sure it will be even better. [Image: f5b66a1e9a0f1a7d2e80029f6a580263.jpg]
