What soap/cream did you use today?

Pre de Provence is a fine French soap and har like the back of my head.  I would guess a heavy loading daily shaver would go most of a year before using this 150g puck.  Sadly I will lily never know because hey, unlike additional ladies, my wife doesn’t care if I have additional soaps.  I do like the PdP 63 though.  Strength is a medium light but so wonderful.  They speak of a peppery citrus top but the notes I get and enjoy are plum, violet, leather, cedar.  Very nice indeed.  Load it long and it’ll work into a very nice lather indeed.

I bought this the instant it hit the shelves a few years ago. When it arrived I was upset bc I didnt like the plum/fig thing. So I sold it off shortly thereafter.
But I repurchased on a whim recently and I'm glad I did... I've grown into the scent and I'm looking forward to using it... especially when autumn comes around.

Interesting fact - Sodium Palmate is the first ingredient, but it lathers just as if it is Potassium Palmate first.

Another interesting fact - the original PdP (which btw is their Sage scent of you buy their bar soaps) does use Potassium Palmate as the first ingredient. Gotta wonder why they'd have two formulas like that.

And finally, maybe I'm dreaming.... But I could swear they have a new soap in the scent Rosemary & Bergamot. Don't remember where I saw that.

Good post boys. Fall for me is a good live college football game, cool weather, and a Saturday shave with 63. I uber lather it with the 63 cream. The 63 asb is nice as well.

The fragrance is a very very close mate with Viktor and Rolf Spicebomb btw.

I hope that college football will be possible this year!
