What soap/cream did you use today?

Atkinson's shaving cream. Excellent lather and a scent that was close to that of the Yardley English Lavender aftershave that followed.

Old Virginia t. (Asylum Shave Works) tobacco barn

Old Virginia smells like an ancient cedar barn crammed to the rafters with hay and bright leaf. Vanilla gives it a sweet, ambery vibe. It's strong at first, but fades quickly. To prolong the fun, you may want to finish off with a few drops of Serge Lutens' Chergui or Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille.

Hi Tommy, I actually haven't sniffed the TF so I can't make a comparison.
But it is very nice. The tobacco note reminds me of the kind you chew (so Redman (leaf type), not Skoal (shredded mess type), thank the heavens), which always had a lot of overlap with RAISINS, IME.
The vanilla is very nice and smooth.
Nothing smells cheap about it, they definitely use high quality ingredients and have a very good nose doing the blending.
Certainly a unisex scent and would melt if I came across a hottie smelling classy like this.
