Figured today was a good day to bring it out of the dopp kitGreat looking lather as always - i really like wsp products. How is the marakesh? Any obvious analogs?

L&L Grooming Mayflower
Though May is gone, I hope to enjoy Mayflower for a long time to come. One of Declaration Grooming’s finest creations, in my opinion. The original bison tallow base is still a favorite of mine.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Wild Oranges v. (Meißner Tremonia) dry bitter orange
Though the scent of the puck is sweet and pleasantly orange, the fragrance of the lather is simple and mild. The smell won't distract you from the real business at hand, which is making a superb lather. I've had some very good shaves with Meißner Tremonia soaps before, but I have to admit my lathers then were as nothing compared to today's. These soaps are rich in clay and so will hold lots of water. I brushed in teaspoon after teaspoon until it was sort of sagging off my face. A few quick swirls and the emulsion blossomed like a peony in June. Rich, thick, and slick, it put down the perfect foundation for a very comfortable shave.
