Marrakesh t. (Mystic Water) spicy patchouli
Most mornings the beach smells like vetiver, but if a squall blows in and gives all the seaside plants a misting, the fragrance changes to patchouli. Leafy, wet, and earthy all at the same time, patchouli is for me the essence of the tropics. Sadly, I don't have many patchouli soaps. Not many good ones have been made. This tub of Marrakesh, though, is the exception. It's sweet and dirty and delicious. Though the fragrance lacks cocoa notes, it's still an excellent preamble in to one of my favorite potions, Serge Lutens' Borneo 1834. And yes, like many other offerings from Mystic Water, Marrakesh has a distinct head shop vibe. When I use it, I confess I'm tempted to tack up my blacklight posters and put on Ummagumma.

Ethos Succes (Pineapple Noir) - great soap and perhaps best skin food I’ve used. Soap has a lot of flexibility and can be used with a wide range of water, from thick to slick. Quickly becoming a favorite, maybe the favorite!

It's definitely not a sweet scent...it still has that "dead" rose vibe to it(05-22-2020, 06:29 PM)HoosierShave Wrote:I’m this close to executing along with the balm, it’s soooo think and rich in your images, love the ingredient profile, hows the scent?
