Eucris Cream v. (Geo. F. Trumper) cumin, black currants, oak moss

The label is great,  the lather adequate, but the scent is otherworldly. It's that last part that really sparks the joy. There's nothing else like Eucris. Bold, brash, and beautiful, its oak moss is so thick you can chew it. Will I replace this tube? Probably not. I'll be lucky to get ten shaves out of it, and those shaves, though fine, aren't really much to write about. Time and money is best spent on Eucris eau de toilette. That's where the fun is.

Concur!  Eucris is an amazing scent.  I keep hoping they will reformulate the soap to be useable once more.  Oh that scent is awesome.

Bouki and you guys who have sniffed this stuff - it is quite amazing. Nothing else remotely like it. I really appreciate the originality of the blend. I do struggle with when to where it. I mean as an office fragrance? .. pretty daring. I have been going with weekend use when I know I won't be around any ladies. I am going to say the gals aren't going to appreciate this. This is a man's fragrance. And I very rarely commit to pigeon-holing scents to gender, bit I don't think Billie Jean King would wear this. One needs chest hair and a pair of clackers as admission to usage .

I have heard neither the current formulations of the soap or cream is anything great.  However, I couldn't agree more about the eau de toilette.  It is, to use your term, otherworldly.  Also superb is the aftershave, Geo. F. Trumper Eucris Skin Food.  I often use the two to finish off a shave.

Lip, I uber lather this with an unscented tallow to get a decent lather. Why did they ruin the old formulation? It is bad

I tend to agree that as a scent to wear, I think it is definitely on the masculine side.  However, I should think that there are women out there who would quite enjoy the scent on a man.  Aren't there feminine scents that you would never use but find very appealing when a lady is wearing them?

Tommy, if you are referring to the Eucris Skin Food,  I was able to get it in September when I visited the Gentleman's Groom Room in Dundee, Scotland.  At that time, the owner of the shop mentioned that for a while, anyway, outside of Geo. F. Trumper itself, his was the only place it was available.  However, he thought it would be sold at more outlets eventually so that may be the current case.  If you do find it then I'd be curious to know where.
