What soap/cream did you use today?

We live in some crazy times with Corona and Covid-19.  Darn virus killed my job and finding another is proving to be a bit problematic and might remain so for the next few months but I have faith that we will all figure out how to get back to normal and that I'll find an outfit that needs my skill set and will be able to get back to the work I love so much.  Awhile back our own Dominicr posted a video in his Three Minute Shaver series titled “Don't Let Up”. https://youtu.be/tJP4xV6Y7y0
It's worth a watch and I wholeheartedly support his premise.  So this Saturday morning I went whole-hog and had the best shave of the week!  AOS sandalwood preshave, AOS sandalwood soap, and Fine Santal Absolut to finish.  You all know how much I love the scent of sandalwood and this one is fantastic.  Performance is great too.  Some scents take me on a journey back to younger years reminiscent of life experiences long past.  This one takes me on a journey of when I came back to traditional Shaving as it was one of the first soaps I purchased.  This is one of the few I have back-ups for.  Excellent shave to start this excellent Saturday.  Going hiking with some Grands in a few minutes.  Watch the vid.  Don't let up.  Stay safe and productive.

Today in my SOTD ... The Goodfellas' Smile “Amber Fougere” Formula AJ1

Bloomed the soap while I showered - loaded for about 20 seconds with a lightly damp 28mm SynBad knot - face-lathered for about 10 minutes using paint-strokes & dipping about a third of the knot in sink water every 2 to 3 minutes - lather was flying all over the place by the time I was done, just a great slick soap!
