As good as the soap is though, where Black Tie/Sir Henry's Sundries really excels is scent.  Every one I own is so well balanced.  I've always wondered why I don't see more of it on this forum.  I own top shelf stuff and this company can hang with all of them AND they don't monkey with seasonal or limited edition soaps so when I find one I like I know it'll be in stock when I want it again.  Sure would like to know how others like this soap too.

Natural Bay Rum v. (Meißner Tremonia) Jamaica rum, West Indies bay, a whiff of clove

Though I've dedicated this month to Italian soaps, I couldn't help pulling out Meißner Tremonia's bay rum after walking on the beach this morning. Just at sunrise I looked up and saw a schooner with black sails clipping along the coast. It didn't take much to imagine pirates on the horizon making for land. If you're about to be boarded by a swarthy crew, it's probably best to at least smell like them.
