Laureato v. (Abbate y la Mantia) lemon, bay leaf, saffron

"Wow! That's astringent!" says my wife and then pushes the puck away from her face. Give Abbate y la Mantia full marks for the strength of the fragrance. Take a sniff and you'll get a snout full of tart lemon, bay, and saffron. I don't normally go for gourmand scents, but this one works for me, probably because it doesn't smell so much of a cooked dish as it does of the ingredients you'd gather to make something special.

Laureato is my fav AYLM line.
No bay, It's laurel wax.

It's a great frag, very natural.
And yes, It's bold.
One of my preferred scents.
Better in combo with its lotion.
Eden better adding EDC.

As soap is nice.
Not in my Top10, but above average.
Good value, just a little pricey.
But packaging is great too.

Talbot Authors Ridge this morning.  The maker calls it a fall scent and I get that but I also get a whiff of Petrichor and the loamy earthy scent reminds me of spring.  Warm sun on fresh turned earth.
