I’ve tried Nera and Verde, and both scents are stunning in my book. Verde causes the slightest feeling of heat on my skin, but for a soap like this, I’ll deal with it. If I had to describe the scents using two words, Nera would be “classy & modern,” Verde would be “bright & invigorating”.(04-13-2020, 06:25 AM)ExtraProtein Wrote: Tommy: Apples and Oranges on the scents. Black is sophisticated, I want to use it before going to dinner with a “jackets required on Men” policy. Bergamot, Orange, Black and Red Pepper, splash of vanilla and amber for balance, spicy, but not Oriental spicy, like sexy spicy, lol. I’m horrible at this.Perfect. Big thanks. Exactly what I need to know. Time to pony up for a couple of jars. Thx for the post!
The Green became by fav, maybe because I’m ready for summer? To me, it’s a green very mild fresh cut grass, citrus, but more grapefruit, pear, pineapple, think earthy but not rotting leaves, like bay leaves and a splash of saltwater, like a sweet rose/musk, but lite. Think Clinique Happy or AdG. It’s a fresh Saturday afternoon happy scent. Can’t get enough of it.

My last run with this soap till next fall. Nice and cool here in North Texas. I have to be more careful with the water on this puck. Pretty sensitive.
See you all tomorrow

And Bouki has me very close to purchasing an SV soap...just not Manna di Sicilia
Filled the tub with hot tap water and immediately dumped the water into the sink. Loaded a damp 24mm BOSS knot for 45 seconds and then face-painted Dipped 10-20% of brush in sink water then face-painted. Did the dip/paint 3 times and ended up with a nice slick lather. But who cares about the lather when you have the wonderful scent of Black Pepper to bathe in
