PANNACREMA / Nuavia Blue

I love every single soap in the Nuavia line, I always say Black is my fav, than I change my mind to Red, currently, I can’t get enough of the Green scent which doesn’t get much love in the threads
Like you I am a huge Pannacrema fan!  I like the blue and love the red. Tell me about the green and black. Strong? Any analogs? Thx in advance

Tommy: Apples and Oranges on the scents.  Black is sophisticated, I want to use it before going to dinner with a “jackets required on Men” policy.  Bergamot, Orange, Black and Red Pepper, splash of vanilla and amber for balance, spicy, but not Oriental spicy, like sexy spicy, lol. I’m horrible at this.

The Green became by fav, maybe because I’m ready for summer? To me, it’s a green very mild fresh cut grass, citrus, but more grapefruit, pear, pineapple, think earthy but not rotting leaves, like bay leaves and a splash of saltwater, like a sweet rose/musk, but lite. Think Clinique Happy or AdG.  It’s a fresh Saturday afternoon happy scent.  Can’t get enough of it.

PM me with an address, I’ll mail you a couple samples.  I’m a scoop with spatula soap user, plague free here!

Spring is in the air and so B&M Rhapsody was the right choice.  It's heady aroma of pear blossoms makes it very floral but Will does a great job adding something else to tone down the sweetness of pear into a well balanced and masculine fragrance.  This is the Glissant base which is the base I like the best.  The soap is very firm.  Performance?  Well of course!

Great to see these kinds of impressions and interactions. Smile I’ve tried Nera and Verde, and both scents are stunning in my book. Verde causes the slightest feeling of heat on my skin, but for a soap like this, I’ll deal with it. If I had to describe the scents using two words, Nera would be “classy & modern,” Verde would be “bright & invigorating”.

Stirling Soap Company Cocoa Forest

Stirling is always a solid and reliable performer, but certain scents seem to elevate the perceived performance of the soap to an even higher level. Such is the case with Cocoa Forest. I adore this brown-lather soap, and as its name suggests, it brings to mind sipping warm cocoa in a cool pine forest. It would be great if this one made a reappearance sometime. (What say ye, ezlovan?)

Manna di Sicilia v. (Saponificio Varesino) soapy tobacco

Great shave, iffy scent. Again I bloomed the puck with a veil of boiling water, and again I got a fantastic lather. The performance of this soap leaves nothing to be desired. The fragrance is another matter. Of all Saponificio Varesino's soaps, Manna di Sicilia smells the soapiest. It reminds me of an old bar of shower soap, faded and washed out. I get a whiff of tobacco and some oudish wood around the fringes, but the orange and bergamot I expected does not shine through. You'd think that an island so well known for its citrus would inspire something much fresher.
