Lovely Tobacco Toscano scent. Easy to lather. Really nice puck. Narrow water aperture. Not that thirsty - gotta be careful with the H2O.

Fresh Rosemary v. (Le Père Lucien) flowery rosemary

Once again the Marco Method yielded a boatload of lather that overran my cup ... and plastered the sink, the mirror, the blinds, the walls, and the floor. It took a lot of patience to swirl and swirl and swirl the flighty suds into stiff peaks. It wasn't until I had finished three passes that I finally was able to work the remaining emulsion into a beautiful creamy lather. Of course, by then I had no use for it but to stare at it in deepest admiration of its glossy, full-bodied texture. I might have to cut back the water by half and lessen the load as well so that I can get to the good stuff sooner.

As stated.  There is very little smoke to mine.  The Orange is a really true orange but the smokiness is so light as to almost be imaginary to my nose. M

After loading your brush with Fresh Rosemary via the Marco Method, the best place to build your lather is your palm. It's still a messy prospect, but the emulsion comes together there in far shorter time than working it in a bowl or slapping it across your chops. The scent is a very floral rosemary that can almost pass for lavender. It needs a bit of spice to tone it down. Caron's Le 3e Homme with its rich note of anise makes a nice companion.
