What soap/cream did you use today?

I used this, but I'm biased. 

I love the barbershop vibe from this scent.

Vétyver v. (Martin de Candre) smoky vetiver

The weather really affects how I smell. On a hot, humid day even simple scents can blow up an gag me. But when the cool rains set in, brash fragrances become tame, and mild to middling scents start to disappear. None of Martin de Candre's soaps is scented with a powerful fragrance, so on those few occasions when cold Alaskan air makes its way to these islands, I'm always surprised by how dull my favorite soaps smell. Today's Vétyver gave a great shave, as it always does, but I could hardly smell the heavenly aroma that usually makes this soap such a pleasure. Even Cyril Salter's French Vetiver smelled bland. Might have to put these grassy scents back on the shelf until the temps rise.
