What soap/cream did you use today?

Working on a new base, so I used test batch #20 (I used to never label my test batches, but it got way too confusing).

ooh test batch?  sounds interesting... is this the 20th iteration?  and whats with the honey?

Added some honey to boost the lather - just made more batches today with various amounts of honey in it.  Working on finalizing my new base!

didnt know that about honey..  i like how you printed a label for the test batches   looks cool.

dope brush too.  always wanted to try a varlet.

Cèdre-Patchouli v. (Le Père Lucien) cedar & patchouly

This light, slick lather still gives me one of the best shaves, and the combination of glycerine and Shea butter makes for a perfect finish that’s neither too dry nor too sticky. The scent? Well, the label says it all. Don’t look for any surprises tucked away between the cedar and the patchouly. To me it smells like a cedar chest that’s been up in the attic for fifty years. It’s old, musty, aromatic and delightful.
