What soap/cream did you use today?

Yep, on the road again.  This time with a DE rather than the carry-on Guard.  That also means a brush and soap and as the Crowne & Crane Spruce is in the travel duffle, it was the soap of the day.  Man, I like this soap and scent.  It's more of a perfume than resin because I don't get the wood note of resin but it paints the picture well enough and performs flawlessly.

TFS Crazy Sandalwood

Nice vegan soap. High rise lather, slick though. Crazy Sandalwood scent is nice.

Oh no!  I used my all time favourite Grooming Dept Incense & Rose soap today and noticed the dreaded hole    

Darwin Classic v. (Le Père Lucien) citrus, lemongrass, ginger, patchouli

I smell lemon and patchouli with just a bare whiff of ginger. It’s a lovely mild scent, one you could use for days on end without growing weary of it. The patchouli is not dirty in the least. A shame. I remedied that by administering a few liberal doses of Santa Maria Novella’s Patchouli edt. A dry, camphoric interpretation of patchouli, it offers robust notes of smoke and soil and acts like a wormhole back to the 70s.
