What soap/cream did you use today?

The maker says: "Sweet, warm tobacco blossom, with citrus, and rose." I find it hard to pick out the individual scent notes. I do find it sweet and warm.

Wickham 1912 Magnum

Floris Verbena shaving soap (tallow).  Although I sometimes wish its fragrance was a bit different, this old soap makes the very best lather I have experienced, rich and slick, better even than that of other vintage Floris and Penhaligon's soaps.

Al these years and I have never taken the opportunity to try Eleven Soaps offerings but I that Movember box was a DFS x Eleven LE soap and splash and I can say now that issue is resolved.  Eleven used to be Sapone di Paolo but changed names a year or two ago. The soap is mid-firm and loads easily.  Scent profile is Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Patchouli, Amber and Muskand is very pleasant.  The amber and musk seem most prominent to my nose. It's different than anything I currently own so I cannot give you a similar soap scent.  Besides, it's a LE so not readily available.  I do remember Paolo donated part of the price back to our beloved DFS site.  Thank you sir.  
    So the face feel didn't give me the big wet hug I love.  In fact on round three there was a bit of a tingle indicating there is some element in the soap that I'm not 100% compatible with. That said, it wasn't too,warm and the scent is great.  It's slick.  The splash has an alcohol burn which is an eye-opener that I like.
