Morning Ghost t. (Cold River Soap Works) bergamot, vetiver, wood
Morning Ghost began life soft as a cream, but now, nearly two years old, it’s as hard as a triple-milled puck. In fact, I had some small troubles loading this morning, the soap was so solid. But the lather came together eventually and gave me a very comfortable shave. Slicker than CRSW’s Select 2 base, these Glide soaps offer a winning combination of slip and cushion. They finish admirably, too, thanks to the generous amount of aloe vera that goes into the recipe. It’s ten hours now after my shave, and I still can’t feel a barb.
