Wickham Soaps Ninfeo di Egeria - Mentioned in another thread I decided to pick this one up recently.  A light scent but quite nice.  A bit of an escape after a couple of heavy snowfalls.  I think I have too much free time on my hands today but looking at the scent notes here this one seems to have a lot in common with Acqua di Parma's Blu Mediterraneo Series scent Fico di Amalfi.

Who could have predicted how much I would like this Phoenix and Beau Spitfire soap?  I have always been drawn to the name and label.  The Spitfire is and iconic British fighter plane and the label is simple and brilliantly masculine.  The soap?  Ah, the soap is like a big wet hug, offering superb slickness in a medium structure lather.  P&B state the scent notes as Leather, Juniper, and Tobacco. To my nose the leather and juniper are about equal and the tobacco floats in and around and through.  Wow I dig this scent.  I wouldn't think I'd like a cologne like this as it conjures up a very industrial vibe for me.  Like a man with great grooming habits who works with tools and oil and fuel.  I can certainly envision a leather-clad pilot sitting in a cockpit with the smells of the plane mechanics wafting around him.  Oh, and the post was excellent.  Scent wise this one takes me on a journey and for that it climbs in a top five position on its very first bout.  Color me impressed.

Mondial Tobacco Verde shaving cream, partially reconstituted with filtered water because it was desiccated when it first arrived.  Still hard enough to load directly onto the brush from the jar.  Very good lather.
