Natural Bay Rum v. (Meißner Tremonia) Jamaica rum, West Indies bay, a whiff of clove
By far the best smelling bay rum on my shelf, this soap isn’t overloaded with citrus, so you don’t get that wassailly feel that makes you want to start singing Christmas carols. This is just bay and rum with a smidgen of clove to accentuate the spiciness of the bay. Good lather? Yup. Not heavy with tallow, it still gives me all the slip I need at this sticky time of year. Finish up with Barberry Coast aftershave and a couple spritzes of St Johns bay rum cologne and then head for the beach.

Good performance, as usual with Fine... Smell is quite uninviting. Luckily, it's also a very light scent.
I don't have the soap but the Santal Absolut is one of my favorite splashes
